SKYShades Commits To Providing Clean Energy
SKYShades, the leading Global supplier of shade and Tension Membrane structures announced today that it is concluding a deal to commercialise the use of Organic Photovoltaics in its products.

"These flexible PV structures have enormous potential for the production of cleanelectricity and with our Tension Membrane expertise, they can be readily incorporated into existing structures or be part of new 'Smart and Clean' developments which are becoming very popular," said CEO Barry Maranta.

He added, "Given the rapid expansion of our business across the World, we expect our structures to provide upwards of 50 million kWh to the grid each year." "Compared to coal fired power, this would save 45,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year."
